Cedar Creek Plumbing New Construction

Cochran Mechanical is proud to contribute to the modernization of the Cedar Creek Dewatering Facility, a critical component of the Louisville/Jefferson County Metropolitan Sewer District (MSD) and its Cedar Creek Water Quality Treatment Center (CCWQTC).

Originally designed to serve the Cedar Creek Watershed with a treatment capacity of 2.5 million gallons per day, the facility had experienced operational challenges stemming from aging infrastructure and deferred maintenance.

To support MSD’s commitment to environmental stewardship and public health, a new biosolids dewatering facility was constructed to improve wastewater treatment and disposal efficiency. Cochran Mechanical played a key role in this upgrade, providing mechanical solutions that enhance long-term functionality and system reliability. We are proud to partner with MSD in this effort to ensure resilient infrastructure and cleaner waterways for the region..
